Lanamark Explorer

Overview

Lanamark Explorer is an agent-less, light-weight and easy-to-install application that enables you to collect hardware, software and performance data from desktops and servers. The data it captures is stored in a secure snapshot that can be optionally hosted in the Lanamark portal.

Agent-less Data Collection	Remotely collect hardware, software and performance data without running intrusive agents (scripts or executables), writing data to the registry or the file system, or executing operations that can affect the performance and compliance of desktops and servers.
Snapshot Hosting (optional)	For convenient retrieval, collected data can be uploaded and hosted in the Lanamark Portal.
Zero Licensing	No licenses are required at the customer site to deploy and use the Lanamark Explorer. Licenses only need to be obtained through the Lanamark Portal after data has been collected.
Ease of Deployment	Due to its small footprint, Lanamark Explorer can be deployed in minutes, helping you get each virtualization project off to a quick start. Deployment of the Lanamark Explorer can be delegated to customers by registering customer representatives in the Lanamark Portal.
Secure Snapshots	Collected data is stored in a secure snapshot and can only be accessed by the solution provider in the Lanamark Studio. Customers are limited to viewing a high-level dashboard that shows the overall IT infrastructure utilization.
Data Collection Policy	You can define a policy for identifying desktops and servers to be profiled. To reduce the size of a snapshot you can also specify which metrics should be collected. This can be achieved by modifying Accelerators in the Lanamark Portal.
